Healing Journey of a Different Kind…

My dear sweet friends,

I have been absent here. At times, struggling too much to engage. At other times, simply caught up in the busyness of life – finishing my social work degree, parenting my seven children, and trying to keep up with the endless battle against laundry, dishes, and piled up messes.

But I’m back, because I need your help.

My family is at the beginning stages of dealing with childhood cancer.

We need your prayers.

I have started a blog to share this journey with our family, church community, and friends. A place to share updates, prayer requests and praise reports as we experience the faithfulness of our God.

I would like to share this journey with you as well. I just need to ask a favor of each of you…

I have been very open on this blog, that Kamea is a pseudonym. A special name given to me by my loving, heavenly Father. A name I use to protect my family’s privacy, and my own.

But now, the stakes are high. I need to take this risk and share this part of my life with each of you, so that you can pray for my sweet boy.

My request is this – please, when you visit my blog, can you not refer to me as Kamea or make any reference to Incremental Healing.

Thank  you for understanding.

And now, let me take you by the hand and invite you into our family’s struggle…

I have also set up a Facebook page entitled Ethan’s Journey, which can be found at  https://www.facebook.com/pray4ethan/

May God richly bless you for your faithfulness in praying for this precious child. Much love and big hugs,

  1. I am lifting this young man and you and your family in my prayers. I am ever so sorry to read this and know that God is walking each step with you. I will head over to fb, but wanted to let you know that I am praying, Kamea.
